On 12 October 2022, Verkhnekamsk Potash Company (VPC) (a member of Acron Group) held Career Day for the second-year students of Perm National Research Polytechnic University to provide them with career guidance and information about current vacancies.

The VPC Career Day attended by future mining, electrical and chemical engineers was organised with support of the Perm Krai Ministry of Industry and Trade. The VPC employees spoke about advantages of working for the Company, current vacancies, working environment, and social benefits. The students asked about employment and apprenticeship opportunities at VPC. At the close of Career Day, they had a quiz, and the best players received prizes.

Head of VPC HR Department Elena Dnystryan believes that for many students such orientation events are the first step in their career, ‘Meetings with a potential employer help students understand how business processes work, what requirements they have to meet to be hired or qualify for apprenticeship’.
