Acron and Perm Krai Sign Roadmap for Cooperation with Regional Industrial Complex

During the Perm Engineering and Industrial Forum, Chairman of Acron’s Board of Directors Alexander Popov and Governor of Perm Krai Dmitry Makhonin signed a roadmap for cooperation with the regional industrial complex aimed at strengthening ties between Acron Group companies and manufacturing, service, scientific, and educational organisations in Perm Krai.

The Group also signed an agreement with Perm’s scientific and educational centre Rational Subsoil Use to promote cooperation in education, science, and technology. The parties will focuse on developing new products and technologies, building new and upgrading existing production units, establishing a high-performance personnel training system, and other relevant tasks.

Alexander Popov, Chairman of Acron’s Board of Directors, expressed the Group’s interest in developing effective long-term partnerships with regional manufacturers and scientific and educational centres. ‘These agreements will serve as a platform for mutually beneficial cooperation, experience exchange, and development of innovative solutions’.

Verkhnekamsk Potash Company (VPC, a member of Acron Group) also intends to sign agreements with Perm Krai companies, including Perm Shipyard, Alexandrovsk Machine Building Plant, TeploEnergoProm, and Perm National Research Polytechnic University, during the Forum.

VPC is constructing a potash mine in the Talitsky area of the Verkhnekamsk potassium-magnesium salt deposit in Perm Krai. In 2019, VPC signed a cooperation agreement with the Perm Krai administration, which provides for informational, coordinating, and consulting support for the Company’s investment project.
