VPC Wins Occupational Safety Competition
Verkhnekamsk Potash Company (VPC) staff took part in an annual Perm Krai occupational safety competition based on 2020 performance. The results of the competition are presented at the final regional meeting on occupational safety, timed to coincide with World Day for Safety and Health at Work.
This year, 128 companies and organisations operating in Perm Krai took part in the competition.
At the award ceremony in Perm on 28 April, VPC won first prize among companies in the oil and gas, mining, engineering, chemical, metal, and pulp and paper industries.
The winners received a letter of recognition from Alexey Chibisov, Perm Krai’s deputy prime minister and minister of industry and trade, as well as a commendation from Mikhail Ivanov, chair of the Perm Regional Association of Trade Unions.
