VPC Obtains Permit for Mine Shaft Construction
On November 12, 2012, the Subsurface Management Department of Perm Krai granted VPC a permit to construct mine shafts at the Talitsky deposit. The permit provides for construction of 8 meter wide and 416.9 meter deep skip shaft and 8 meter wide and 362.6 meter deep cage shaft. Obtaining this permit is the first step towards construction of the underground mine at the Talitsky area of Verkhnekamsk potassium-magnesium salt deposit with an annual capacity of 7.2 million tonnes of ore.
