Mine Construction

  • October

    VPC completed forest clearing for construction site of the sewage treatment facilities.

  • September

    The administrative building for VPC's employees was fully equipped.
    VPC completed backfilling at the skip and cage shaft areas.
    US-30 began assembly of the first skip shaft head frame metalwork.

  • July

    VPC's contractor US-30 began assembly of second cage shaft head frame metalwork. Construction of a ring walkway and mainstream brine pipeline for the skip shaft was underway, as well as installation of the on-site water supply and sewage system that will be used during sinking of vertical mine shafts.

    Engineering research for the Talitsky mine surface facilities is underway.
