Verkhnekamsk Potash Company Becomes a Partner of the Mine-2017 Trade Fair
Verkhnekamsk Potash Company (a member of Acron Group) was a business partner of the 3rd Interregional Fair of Technologies, Equipment and Specialised Machinery for Mining and Processing of Ores and Minerals Mine-2017. The fair was held at the Perm Fair Exhibition Centre on 10–13 October 2017.

VPC representatives attended the fair to learn about the latest products in the mining industry, strengthen business contacts with their old partners, receive technical advice on products, and discuss points of interest.

“Fairs like this help not only to establish contacts with potential dealers and manufacturers of equipment, but also to take part in discussion panels and share views on process flows, which can employ proposed solutions to design the Talitsky mine,” said VPC Deputy Chief Operating Officer for Mining Oleg Dobrokhotov.

The Mine-2017 Interregional Fair of Technologies, Equipment and Specialised Machinery for Mining and Processing of Ores and Minerals is the largest exhibition and discussion platform in the Urals and the Volga region. It shows main development trends for the mining industry, allows suppliers and manufacturers of mining and processing equipment to present their products, and helps subsoil users to attract contractors.

The Talitsky project to develop a potash raw material base in Perm Krai is implemented by VPC as part of Acron Group's investment strategy. The investment project is aimed at building a mine with the capacity of 7.45 mtpa of ore and 2 mtpa of potassium chloride. Total investments will reach USD 2.7 billion, including the licence cost.
